Happy New Year from Professional Services Marketing, Inc. We hope you had a safe and relaxing holiday season!

Because I only send one or two updates each year, I like to fill them with helpful tips, checklists and other tools you can immediately put to use. I know how busy you are in your life and career. But I also know that marketing is something you can't just “do” when you have the time. Rather, marketing is a collection of practices, which when done on a daily basis and integrated into the fabric of your professional life, will help you meet your new business development goals.

These goals will likely include securing more work from your existing clients, developing exciting new client relationships, enhancing and building your name recognition in the marketplace, and proactively communicating timely, relevant information to your clients and referral sources.

I'm quite sure that most of the ideas in this update won't be new to you. Simply let them serve as a reminder of best practices as you market your professional services business in 2007.
