Professional
Services Marketing offers tailored, one-on-one
consulting services to lawyers and other billing professionals
in the areas of: individual marketing assessment, development
of a strategic individual marketing plan, and ongoing implementation
of the plan. This process takes place over the course of a
year and is supported by monthly meetings with an individual
marketing coach. Professional Services Marketing
has helped numerous professionals develop and implement personal
marketing plans including:
- Conducted weekly conference calls with a CPA firm's partners to establish new business development goals and objectives, to measure progress against these goals and to strengthen each professional's skills and confidence levels in recruiting new clients.
- Served as the marketing coach to a senior associate at a national immigration law firm primarily focused on tapping into her corporate contacts.
- Served in a marketing coach capacity with the managing partner of a national immigration law firm with a primary goal of building a strong marketing culture at the firm.
- Provided marketing coaching services to five partners at a major Twin Cities' law firm resulting in significantly increasing revenue over a two-year period.
- Served as the marketing coach to an established practice area at a large Twin Cities law firm resulting in a more strategic and focused approach to growing the practice.
- Worked closely with individual attorneys of a mid-sized Minneapolis law firm to develop individual marketing strategies.
- Worked with a Minneapolis law firm partner practicing
in the area of commercial banking on the development of
a customized marketing plan. Recently received a call stating
that he will bill $500,000 in 2004 as a result of our working
together.
- Developed a proactive plan for a Minneapolis law firm
partner to build his name recognition and awareness within
a targeted industry attracting prospective clients. Today,
this attorney has a significant practice representing trade
association members.
- Worked for over two years with the founder of an accounting
firm in Wayzata, MN, to develop and implement a marketing
strategy around a highly industry-focused group of clients.
This year, this client will bill over $1 million in revenue,
and the owner has attributed his success to our marketing
work.
- Worked with five partners at a 35-member accounting firm
in Maplewood, MN, on the development of personal contact
lists as well as individually focused relationship-building
strategies which have already resulted in new business for

firm in Minneapolis on the development of his first ever
strategic marketing plan, which is still in use today.
- Worked with the owner of a human resources consulting
firm in Eagan, MN, to develop the business and marketing
strategy required to launch her new business, which continues

- Developed a strategic marketing plan for the president
of a technology consulting and training firm in St. Paul,
MN. Personal marketing coaching was combined with business
planning strategy for the entire firm.
- Worked with a corporate partner of a 35-attorney Minneapolis
law firm on the development of a strategic approach to market
his services as an outsourced CFO, resulting in a $250,000
annual contract.
- Worked with the president of a start-up vacation services
firm in North Oaks, MN, on the development and implementation
of a marketing strategy to launch her new business on a
national level.
- Worked with the partners of a virtual law firm to make
the transition from a corporate legal practice into private
practice. Developed individual marketing plans for partners
as well as met with each partner on an ongoing basis, serving
as their individual marketing coach.

on international legal and business consulting. Met regularly

rental management industry. This work involved the creation
