Beth
LaBreche, Principal, LaBreche
Beth LaBreche co-founded
LaBreche in 1990. She currently serves as the
agency's president and provides strategic communication counsel
and management to clients in various industries throughout
the U.S.
Before founding LaBreche, Beth was with a top public relations agency in the
Twin Cities. Her career in communications began at Minnesota
Suburban Newspapers, where she was a weekly columnist and
advertising editor.
Beth has been a member
of the Public Relations Society of America, International
Association of Business Communications (IABC), National Association
of Women Business Owners and Sales and Marketing Executives.
She has served on the board of directors for IABC and as president
of the board of directors for the University of Minnesota
School of Journalism and Mass Communication Alumni Society.
She has served on the PRSA Classics Committee, the International
Special Olympics Media Committee and is a past vice president
of the University of Minnesota's Public Relations Student
Society of America.
Beth is currently a
director on the board for the Minneapolis Regional Chamber
of Commerce and dba Women magazine.
Beth earned her degree
in journalism, with a specialization in public relations and
English, from the University of Minnesota. She has been
recognized as one of the most influential women in business
and a "40 Under 40" award winner by The Business
Journal of the Twin Cities and is a recipient of the Emerging
Business Owner of the Year award from the National Association
of Women Business Owners.
Beth has been a contributing
writer for local and national magazines, and her public relations
work has earned several industry and professional awards.
LaBreche's success was recognized in 2000 with the
prestigious U.S. Chamber of Commerce Blue Chip Enterprise
Initiative Award, and the company's community relations efforts
were recognized with the 2001 Quality of Life Award by the
Minneapolis Regional Chamber of Commerce.
